We are partnered with a Fortune 100 giant in the insurance space who is seeking a Varicent Engineer with hands-on experience in Varicent or similar incentive compensation management (ICM) platforms. This hybrid role offers the chance to apply your technical skills in a large-scale enterprise environment while continuing to expand your expertise and professional skills through our DRUM UPSKILL Training Program.


Responsibilities:

  • Build, configure, and maintain incentive compensation systems within the Varicent platform
  • Develop and maintain ELT pipelines within Varicent, including data validation, transformation, and troubleshooting
  • Write, test, and optimize SQL queries to support compensation logic and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
  • Design and implement compensation calculations to support incentive plan rules
  • Build and present tables and adaptive reports to meet business needs
  • Contribute to documentation of technical configurations and system processes


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on Varicent experience (or similar ICM platforms such as Xactly or Optymyze)
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data quality principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially with complex datasets
  • Experience with reporting/analytics tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Comfortable learning new systems and adapting to evolving enterprise technologies
  • Python scripting/programming experience is a plus
  • Background with sales systems, finance tools, or enterprise software is a plus but not required
